( she's never had plans for thanksgiving ever, thanks to all the nonsense that results in her never being with her family when holidays roll around.

(she and Mary had a thanksgiving thing before the curse broke. it was nice.)

Emma's feeling the absence of her family pretty badly, and she's reaching out to someone she's imagining might be suffering the same. )

look, I'm not a great cook, but I've been practicing for this find-a-hobby thing

Look the truth is i started seeing someone and i dont really want to lie to her about my past. But telling someone about all that opens up a whole can of worms not just for me but for you too

( if ruby is already to the deep and dark past conversation, Emma imagines the seeing has likely been going on for awhile. she's a little curious why this is the first she's heard of it. )

honestly? your past doesn't have much to do with me. even if you mentioned your best friend throwing a baby in a cabinet, I doubt anyone would guess that baby is me.

after what happened with Greg and Tamara I don't share info about home with just anybody. but if you're talking about deep dark history, it's probably not a just anybody situation.

yeah, I agree it sounds pretty crazy. hopefully she takes it better than I did, but if I could accept it... surely she can. I didn't make it easy, after all.

I think it's up to you. not to me. I'm okay with you sharing with someone you trust. as long as she doesn't go off and tell all of florida.
